Colchester Prep & High School are very proud to have been selected by Trinity College London as a Trinity Champion Centre 2023-2024 in recognition of our successful and innovative delivery of Arts Award qualifications. Last year there were only 63 Arts Award Champion Centres in the UK, so it is an honour to become part of this selected group.  As a Trinity Champion Centre we will become an inspiration for existing and potential centres by sharing our practice and advocating for Arts Award in our community and more widely. In return, Trinity will celebrate our achievements, profile our success and promote our work.

Following this accolade, the school has been offered a place for Ms Romero-Fernández to join the Royal Opera House Cultural Champions Middle Leadership Programme 2023-2024. This programme is developed to empower improvement and evolve the strategic direction of creative and cultural learning at our school. Participants will support and lead a creative school initiative, alongside the ROH Create and Learn programme.
