Colchester Prep & High School are proud to have been accredited as a Common Sense School for our commitment to encouraging our pupils to take ownership of their digital lives and for creating a school culture of responsible digital citizenship.

This award recognizes our whole-community approach, involving pupils, parents and staff, to e-safety and our digital programme that encourages our pupils to think critically and use technology responsibly to learn, create, and participate while preparing them for the perils that exist in the online realm, such as plagiarism, loss of privacy, and cyberbullying. Through the Common Sense Media Programme, our pupils are given the skills to compete and succeed in the 21st century workplace, engage with real issues, and participate ethically in society at large.
