CAREERS

WORK WITH US

At Colchester Prep & High School we aren’t just looking to help all of our pupils achieve their full potential, we also hope to bring the very best out of our teachers and support staff. In professional terms this means, for example, that we offer our teachers and nursery practitioners lots of opportunities to develop their skills and add to their qualifications.

We also give all of our teaching and support staff a genuine opportunity to help shape the way the school works. When one of our teachers expressed her belief in the educational benefits of learning to speak in public, we registered as an English Speaking Board exam centre, with pupils across the school enjoying fantastic success. Another teacher established a Diversity Fair. Our immersive classroom was imagined and created by another.

These are not isolated examples. We are a school where the potential of our teachers and staff is realised, making this an especially fulfilling place to work.
